When the study trip visited de Drom last week, we got a chance to see the citizen´s office, where the inhabitants of Kröpelin can get help with the ride-sharing system. We also got some information on how ride-sharing has developed in Tingsryd and Bützow. Last but not least, those interested could try riding a pedelec.
Thursday and Friday this week the final partner meeting took place in Rostock, Germany. The first day was a joint study trip hosted by the projects Elmos, that is focusing on electrical mobility, and Mobile Together. On the trip we learned more about pedelec stations and ride-sharing. The pictures below show our visit at our ride-sharing partner de Drom and the rural pedelec station in Klein Strömkendorf.
The last day of our final event was hosted by our partner Pferdemarktquartier. After the formal meeting was done, with quite a few interesting discussions on our experiences, an exciting and varied program rounded up the get-together. At first there was oil and mustard tasting. After that a visit to a restored church with solar cells and finally a walking tour in a beautiful forest with some historical relics.
Our project partner Pferdemarktquartier, as one of nine initiatives, got awarded yesterday for their commitment in rural areas by Germany’s Federal Minister of Environment. No surprise – their work on ride-sharing was one of the aspects that did the trick…
No activity in the Swedish villages over the summer holidays, but unfortunately not much action afterwards either…
Not only have they put up loads of posters, Pferdemarktquartier has also met the Minister of Energy in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to speak about FLINC and their local ride-sharing initiative.
Our Bützow partner Pferdemarktquartier is making sure everyone in the neighborhood knows about ride-sharing.
After six months of ride-sharing, we have evaluated the results so far. Please read more about the conclusions in the report that can be found on the page Reports (see toolbar on the left).
Still no rush for ride-sharing in our Swedish parter villages…
As previously reported, our partner de DROM presented the project and their local initiative on the National Sustainability Conference in Germany a couple of weeks ago.
Deriving from that, de Drom is now taking part of „Werkstatt N“, which is a competition of ideas on sustainability. Chosen projects will have a chance to promote their ideas to a wider public.
The Mobile Together project partner de DROM has presented the project and their local initiative “Wir fahren zusammen” on the National Sustainability Conference in Germany.
